NOTD #1

Today I was feeling a little brave, so I opted for Barry M's 134 Yellow.. This is actually the first time I've ever worn this colour - I'd originally bought it for a neon themed party, however in the end I couldn't go and alas it has never seen the light of day since!

I am usually a french manicure girl. But these last few weeks I have been embracing all the summer brights and so this seemed like a good choice.

In the end I needed 3 coats for it to be streak free and completely opaque. Which looked like this:

I then wanted to be a little more adventurous so I pulled out my Konad plate M57 and used the leopard print design. This is how it turned out:

I am actually really pleased with this! What do you think?

I applied Rimmel's Lycra 3 in 1 over the top - to help it last longer. Not so much smearing of my design this time - woohoo!

Obviously this isn't for your typical 9-5 job, but it is something I will definitely be wearing in the future for the days when I am feeling fiesty!

I am going to do this as a running post for my blog, every Monday I will post pictures of my nails that day! I have the Orly Tiki Time collection coming, so I will be using those when they arrive!

I received my make up swap package from Minzi a few days ago, so I will be posting pictures of everything that I got soon (she is amazing!), I have just been having too much fun playing around with everything.
